Brief / profile
Fuan Bridge is one of the most important attractions in Zhouzhuang.

Location
It lies at the east end of Zhongshi Street, crossing the Nanbeishi River and leading to the Nanbeishi Street.

Construction
Fuan Bridge has towers on all four corners with carved beams and painted rafters on each side. The single-arch bridge perfectly combines the bridge towers.

History
This attraction was originally built in 1355 during the Yuan Dynasty and was rebuilt by Shen Wansi- Shen Wansan’s younger brother.

Present condition
Nowadays, while enjoying the scenery of the water town, tourists can do shopping and taste the local food in the towers of Fuan Bridge.
